When a child grows up to love himself, to be self confident, to have high self esteem, and to respect himself, there are literally no obstacles to his total fulfillment as a human being. – Wayne Dyer
I am open-minded and am always looking for a different approach to life, especially when it comes to mothering. I believe in recreating yourself in every moment in your grandest vision, growing through experience, and living a life with no limits.
Most importantly, I want to inspire others to teach their children this. If there is a better way, or an alternative path to getting there, I am the first person to experience it and then teach it.
I am embodying what it means to be a conscious mother and human and documenting my progress along the way. I am not perfect and am the first to admit that patience is hard, time is precious, and I often lack coping skills to deal with the pressure. However, I am devoted to bringing out the best in myself and my family.
My desire to raise happy children wins over my faults everyday, and there is real magic in those moments.
This is an experiment. It is a revolution. We are creating a new model of the family unit by demonstrating a different path to raise conscious children, and awaken the true potential within individuals.
It is time to stop repeating the same patterns that have been passed down one generation after another and raise children who are reality centered, focused, spontaneous, respectful, humorous, ethical, open minded, creative, and deeply connected. This website is a call to action. We are on the verge of an awakening and you are the change makers. It takes grace and grit to challenge status quo.
My Professional Journey:
I’m deeply connected to bringing conscious children into this world. I worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at UCSF and studied with Ina May Gaskin, a midwife who taught me that birth is not a medical event, but a spiritual one. After witnessing many traumatic births and knowing that there was a different way, I followed my intuition and quit my job at this acclaimed hospital.
I went on to become a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher. I’ve combined my unique set of knowledge, and passion for Eastern and Western Medicine, to create a program that will introduce families to mindful practices and holistic wellbeing.
Time and again, I’ve shared the powerful experience of childbirth with moms-to-be. Yet, I found that many of my patients entered the hospital without any real knowledge or idea of what to expect during or after birth. In healthcare clinics I found that families were in need of more parenting resources and support. Whether individuals are ready to conceive, have three children, or are working on themselves, my program has valuable information for each member the family and will help everyone to become more fulfilled throughout their lifespan.
My vision is that families across the globe will awaken to their full potential and raise vibrant, healthy, and happy children. I am a mother myself and know how deeply this program is needed. I’ve felt the pressures of motherhood and am the first to admit that patience is hard, time is precious, and there is a need for better coping skills and more connection. I know that mothers have a deep need to balance their family’s necessities with their own spiritual practice and career.
